Real dates, real venues, for the eleven days you have left here. Checked against live listings rather than "it runs weekly."
The curriculum put your language-exchange night in Week 2. Move it to Sunday 9 August. That is the only KL Language Exchange event scheduled before you leave — the next is 23 August, by which time you're gone. Week 2's filter drill and Week 1's volume drill both work fine there; don't miss it waiting for the calendar to line up.
8,315 members. RSVP on Meetup first — the page doesn't gate entry, but it's the norm for this group and you'll be one of fifty-odd people rather than an unexplained stranger.
Why this one matters more than the rest: at a language exchange the licence problem is solved by the venue. Approaching strangers is the advertised purpose, so the variable you're missing — a reason to speak — is supplied for you, and you can spend the whole evening working only on the veto.
The host has recently posted a warning to the group about inappropriate behaviour toward women. That's not a reason to avoid it — it's a well-run group taking care of its members. But it's a live reminder of the point from Lesson 2: what makes an approach land badly is almost never the opening line, it's persisting past a signal to stop. Your exits are the thing that makes you safe to talk to. Practise those there as deliberately as the openings.

Verification status, honestly: the 9 August event was read directly off the live page — venue detail, RSVP count and all. Wed 5 / Fri 7 / Sat 8 have verified dates and venues but cost and RSVP weren't opened. The Toastmasters rows have verified meeting patterns from the official finder; only The Lectern KL had its individual page checked (it states "membership restriction: none, open to all" plus the standard free guest visit). For the other four, confirm address and guest policy on the club finder before turning up.
Week 1 material (now → 10 Aug): the Window Rule. Spike → "I am excited" → speak within five. Count reps, passes, disasters. Run the 29 Missions for structure — a mission supplies the pretext, which is the thing these venues also supply, so they reinforce each other.
Week 2 material (11–15 Aug): override five vetoes a day. Predict first, log after. The prediction gap is the number.
KL walking tours, run clubs, board-game nights, improv and comedy open mics weren't checked — the budget went on nailing the dates above. If none of the listed evenings work for you, tell me and I'll go look.
